JOB SUMMARY:
We have a position available for an Intermediate UI Developer with 2- 5 years of experience. Must have front-end coding standards, React, HTML, JavaScript, Angular JS, Bootstrap, Angular Material, Visual Design, and Graphic design – a must.

This is a hybrid role, with location preference - Prefer to be GP based. Some office visits required, up to 3x per month

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We design experiences for people. In a nutshell, it is our responsibility to how a user feels and reacts when using our product or websites.

Responsibilities often include

Consulting with clients to understand their goals
Conducting usability testing
Creating wireframes, storyboards, sitemaps, and screen flows
Creating product prototypes
Developing personas and usage scenarios
Analysing user feedback and activity, and iterating to enhance the user experience
Assisting with content development
Conducting competitor and customer analysis
Visual Design
Front-end Development

He/She must have a solid understanding of front-end development and an interest in design and user experience. He/She must have the ability to implement front-end coding standards and structures within the development environment, implementing HTML, SASS, and JavaScript within frameworks like Ionic, Bootstrap, Angular Material, Angular JS, React, and Foundation.

As a benefit he/she must have an interest or understanding of graphic design, interest in user experience, and tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, etc.

Skills / Experience Requirements

Minimum 4 years in UI/Web Design experience with a proven track record of multiple projects.
Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 & jQuery (You will be working with Frameworks such as Bootstrap, Angular Material, Angular JS, React, Foundation, and others)
Responsive Web Design experience (Developing and testing across multiple applications and screen sizes, media queries, etc.)
Experience using Browser Development Tools,

Beneficial experience

Interest in User Experience is highly beneficial.
UX Principles experience
Beneficial if the candidate understands the fundamentals of a user experience design. (Course highly beneficial if not yet exposed to industry)
Skills in Adobe Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Adobe XD) and /or Figma. Similar programs are also accepted.
