JOB & COMPANY DESCRIPTION

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Assist in establishing Divisional policies, procedures and frameworks to guide the Internal Audit activity.
Input into the design of test cases with a focus on internal control design evaluation and effectiveness testing using data analysis.
Source and analyse data from relevant source systems; apply data mining and analysis techniques; in support of internal audits and projects.
Provide input into risk assessment process with a focus on identifying opportunities for the use of data analytics to achieve outcomes.
Ensure quality of execution and reporting of data analysis and continuous monitoring and auditing projects.
Assist with the preparation of summary reports to senior/ executive management and the Audit Committee.
Contribute to the improvement and innovation of audit process to improve overall efficiency and added value.

EDUCATION

The successful candidate must have the following qualifications:

Honours (Finance/Accounting or IT) degree
CIA certification preferred
CISA certification will be advantageous.

JOB EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED

3/ 4 years Internal Audit experience
2/3 years’ experience in a manufacturing, FMCG environment and/ or wine and liquor
Experience working as a Data Analyst in an Internal Audit environment
