JOB SUMMARY:
A successful manufacturing company based in the Northern Suburbs is seeking to employ a proactive internal salesperson to join their team. You will offer services to existing clients and support to the external sales reps.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsibilities:

Handling of all inbound sales queries
Assisting customers face to face, telephonically and over email.
Quotes to existing and potential clients
Informing clients of stock availability and lead times and what branch stock will be coming from
Accurate invoicing to clients
Advise customers on available stock/alternatives
Stock arrival dates
Handle all customer claims
Follow-ups with customers to ensure that complaints or claims have been dealt with
Informing clients of return policies
Support to external sales reps
Arrange meetings with clients for external reps.
Cold calling at times.
Time management and delivering timeous responses to customer’s requests are critical.

Requirements:

Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate.
Additional qualification will be advantageous.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role (counter / internal sales).
Fast learner.
Fast and accurate worker with the ability to solve a problem.
Professional and friendly demeanour.
Computer literate.
Self-motivated, organised, and excellent communication skills.
Strong team player and driven.
