JOB SUMMARY:
Internal Sales person with extensive kitchen and catering equipment sales experience required to assist walk in customers and assist external sales. Based in the Johannesburg West area

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsibilities

Responsible for overall internal sales, including customer queries, quotes, orders, demonstrations and assisting external sales when needed
Answer all customer related queries – electronically, verbally as well as walk in customers
Process all customer requests and transactions accurately and timeously
Manage all orders from entry to finalisation
Give feedback to customers regarding their requirements: be it quotes, orders, order status, deliveries/collections, backorders, spares and general inquiries
Develop positive relationships with all existing and prospective customers
Provide professional Customer Service and Support at all times
Maintain good relationships with all internal colleagues and assist relevant business departments where possible
Use initiative and proactively resolve customer queries or complaints promptly
Recognise opportunities to help customers and boost sales/up sell
Promote total customer satisfaction

Requirements

Grade 12

Relevant qualification in sales is preferred
Excellent sales and communication skills is a must
Must have outstanding customer service skills/attitude
Attention to detail and accuracy of capturing data/orders/requests
South African citizens only

Minimum of 3 to 6 years relevant internal sales experience
Extensive kitchen equipment-based sales is preferred

Computer literate - MS Office, SAP or similar
