An international leader in engineering solutions—traditionally strong in the mining industry—are are on the hunt for a Sales Engineer to join their team at the South African office. This is an office-based role, ideal for someone who thrives in a structured, detail-driven environment and enjoys seeing projects through from tender to aftersales support.
This is not a door-to-door role—it’s strategic, technical, and administrative sales at its best.

Non-Negotiable Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical field
• Previous experience in a sales or commercial support role (quoting, tenders, proposals, etc.)
• Ability to understand technical drawings, specifications, and mechanical components
• South African citizenship or valid work permit
  
  

• Experience working with clients in the mining sector preferred
• Exposure to the full sales cycle, including proposal creation, quoting, pricing, and negotiation
• Strong project management abilities—you’ll manage timelines, specs, and aftersales follow-up
• Proficient in MS Office and CRM or ERP systems
• Comfortable handling administrative tasks that support the broader sales function
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Able to juggle multiple priorities and work well with technical and commercial teams
