Exciting opportunity for an Instrumentation Internal Sales Representative to join a well-established engineering supplier, supporting customers with technical solutions and sales administration within the instrumentation and process control space.

Join a reputable engineering company specialising in industrial instrumentation and measurement solutions. Based in Gauteng, this role offers stability, growth, and exposure to a wide range of process industries.
As an Instrumentation Internal Sales Representative, you will play a key role in supporting the external sales team, preparing technical quotations, assisting customers with product selection, and ensuring efficient order processing. This position is ideal for someone with a strong technical understanding who enjoys customer interaction in a fast-paced environment.

Education:

Diploma or Certificate in Instrumentation, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical qualification
OR
Relevant industry experience within instrumentation sales support

Job Experience & Skills Required:

2–3 years’ experience in internal sales or technical sales support within the instrumentation or automation industry
Exposure to process instrumentation, including pressure, temperature, level, and flow measurement
Basic understanding of valves, transmitters, sensors, and control instruments
Ability to read and interpret technical datasheets and P&IDs
Experience preparing quotations, sales orders, and follow-ups
Strong customer liaison and communication skills
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Proficient in MS Office; ERP or CRM system experience advantageous
