JOB SUMMARY:
Our client based in Epping is looking for a dynamic internal sales person to join their team. The ideal candidate MUST have corrugated packaging experience 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Matric/Grade 12
  • 3 – 5 years’ experience working as Internal Sales in the Corrugated industry
  • 3-5 years’ experience working with ABACA system


JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties will include but not be limited to the following:

General:
  • Excellent time management skills and ensure to adhere to times stipulated on the Employee contract.
  • Ensure you are neat and tidy and conduct yourself in a professional manner with all stakeholders.
  • Adhere to all policies set out by the company and follow all processes and procedures of the company.
  • Must have excellent communication skills, problem solving and conflict management skills.
  • Ensure all calls are attended to and ensure all queries are resolved in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ensure record keeping of all key documents and ensure paper trail is maintained at all times.
  • Ensure the sales office block is neat, tidy and safe at all times.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office
  • Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills

Tasks and Responsibilities:
  • Meet all customer commitments through accurately and timeously processing all customer transactions, as per internal sales procedures.
  • Any discrepancy between the order and the system (Size, Price, and Quantity) needs to be identified and resolved in a professional and timeous manner before the order is committed to the customer. No delay here are acceptable.
  • Ensure accurate communication of order status is given to customer and sales representative.
  • Follow up and execute on commitments given.
  • Ensure all WO are made available timeously to Operations and ensure there are no delays with regards to procurement of raw material and / or manufacturing of goods.
  • Manage the delivery schedule
  • Manage stock level at all times. This includes stock to fulfil sales orders as well as aged stock for both finished and raw materials.
  • Book orders in line with capacities and manage required dates by effectively communicating with customers to ensure customer’s satisfaction is achieved.
  • Analyze customer purchase trends and prompt external sales to chase orders to meet sales budget.
  • Receive, manage and escalate customer complaints related to the sale of the company’s product or service.
  • Ensure to follow up on the complaints and close any customer dissatisfaction either directly or through escalations to the relevant Sales Representative or Boxlee Management.
  • Maintain control records and provide information to sales representatives and customers with regards to delivery dates.
  • Maintain and measure monthly purchasing commitments and targets to each supplier, communicating with management any changes required or made in terms of moving from one supplier or account to another. A weekly report is required to be submitted.
  • Ensure all procedures of internal sales are up to date and current.
