IT SERVICE DESK INTERNSHIP - MIDRAND

Gijima is recruiting 5 x IT interns to work on their Service Desk, in Midrand.

POSITION INFO:
The criteria is as follows: - Candidates must have completed a 3-year tertiary qualification (National diploma, degree, diploma) in IT (i.e. Information Systems, Information Technology, Network Management, Computer Systems Engineering, Computer Science) Must be computer literate and must be proficient in MS office Suite\/Office 365 Must have NO criminal record Must currently be unemployed Must not be participating on another learnership or internship program Must not be studying at any other institution (including distance learning) Candidates must live in the greater Midrand area (relocation is NOT an option) Must be under the age of 35 as of 1 July 2026 Must be a South African Citizen - African, White, Coloured and Indian Core Competencies: - Excellent communication skills and the ability to build a rapport with customers Ability to work well in a team Resilience\/fortitude Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy Good problem-solving skills Customer orientated Good time management and organisational skills Certifications: - CompTIA A+ (International certification) Excel certification ITIL v3 Foundation Certification (optional but will advantageous) ONLY CANDIDATES WHO MEET THE CRITERIA MUST APPLY.
