  Essential function:

  • To ensure alignment of all enterprise data and information capabilities to company business strategy by using multiple architectural models/views showing current and future capabilities and designing heterogeneous solutions to ensure resiliency and efficiency of compan systems.
  Skills and Experience:

  Essential Qualification:

  • Essential Qualification: LLB and/or Degree in Finance/Regulatory compliance/ Corporate Finance

  Preferred Qualification:

  • Post-graduate (Honours) Degree/Qualification
  • Preferred Registration: Admitted Attorney

  Experience required:

  • Min 5 years post qualification experience in the Listings Requirements/Corporate or Commercial Law/Regulatory Compliance/Corporate Finance
  Key Accountabilities:

  Results delivery:

  • Develop Technology Roadmaps to prioritise delivery of focus areas for the year in support of business strategy.
  • Provide input into the formalisation for the divisional budget based on business needs and costs projections.
  • Participate in planning sessions to formalise technology roadmaps (4-5 year view) by conducting research on latest trends and meeting with stakeholders within the company to provide direction on future requirements to ensure smooth running of company systems across the enterprise.
  • Apply enterprise data and information architecture and business principles as guidelines when considering alternatives for solution planning and delivery.
  • Develop the data and information architecture for the company to ensure compliance with local and international laws.
  • Develop the big data and cloud architecture to ensure the transition to advanced analytics, AI and machine learning.

  Stakeholder Management:

  • Build network of strategic company /Industry/Global relationships by utilising social media, conferences and industry specialist work groups to solicit perspectives on key initiatives.
  • Work with key stakeholders to articulate and affirm the implications of companyâ??s organisational IT strategies by ensuring a clear understanding of companyâ??s business goals and the impact of current and future state capabilities of the business.
  • Engage stakeholders in addressing concerns in order to progress and gain acceptance of various solutions and roadmaps with their peers.
  • Leverage vendor relationships to understand vendorsâ?? strategic plans and keep abreast of latest technologies by hosting meetings, attending seminars and training events.
  • Provide thought leadership and input into the business strategies and construct high level designs (concepts) that will facilitate the implementation thereof

  Process Management:

  • Collaborate with business and IT functional areas to understand the business context in order to formulate a roadmap to transition business and IT from current to the desired â??end stateâ?.
  • Monitor business and technology trends and analyse the impact for the company, and ensure these factors are considered when developing future business and IT solutions.
  • Conduct current state, strategic and gap analysis, perform high level solution design and recommend priorities for projects that will deliver the required business products and services
  • Ensure effective communication by adjusting communication styles to suite different stakeholders, by using appropriate business and/or technical language to ensure understanding and clarify expectations by clearly presenting ideas verbally or by written documentation (graphics/text)
