POSITION INFO:

We're on the lookout for a multimedia designer with a problem-solving attitude and out-of-the-box thinking. To be successful in this position, you’ll be a self-starter, willing to constantly learn new things, capable of delivering brilliant creative ideas and showing amazing attention to detail.

Within our creative team, the multimedia designer will collaborate very closely with other multimedia designers, instructional designers, developers and quality control to produce the best solution for the clients’ environment.

Essential Experience:

• Use Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro and Audition to create marketing and learning videos.
• Design and plan materials for a wide range of applications such as marketing, learning materials and communications.
• Create marketing materials. Knowledge of how to apply branding is imperative.
• Develop advanced PowerPoint presentations (including interactive presentations) using existing content and brand guidelines.
• Create document and communication templates using a wide range of MS products.
• Edit photographs, video, and voice recordings for a variety of applications.
• Create basic web page designs.
• Keep up to date with industry trends and apply trends to own work.
• Project manage own client projects as well as internal projects.
• Communicate with clients, other departments, web developers and the marketing department when necessary.
• Conceptualise and brainstorm creative ideas with the team.
• Effectively work within a team and be willing to assist within the design capacity to get projects delivered at a high standard.
• Thrive in a deadline-driven environment and take responsibility for delivering on agreed upon times.
• Balance the need to operate independently, or work as part of a team, as tasks require.
• Work on multiple projects at the same time

Essential Qualification:

• Relevant qualifications in multimedia design or related fields.
• 4+ years of experience within multi-media design.
• Advanced knowledge and experience in using After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop.
• Advanced, practical knowledge of MS products.
• Experience in other Adobe programmes is advantageous.
• Experience in Vyond or other rapid video development tools is advantageous.
• Experience with both Apple and Microsoft platforms
• A sound understanding of multimedia design, marketing, corporate identity, and web design.
• High attention to detail, on design and overall balance, i.e., colour, spacing, layout, negative space.

• Knowledge on how to use photography and recording equipment
