JNR Relationship Manager -Cape Town Central -R15, 000-R20, 000 per month + Com + Bonus

Fast growth fintech focused on becoming the leading introducer of SME funding in the UK, specialising in term loans, invoice finance, asset finance and revolving credit facilities seeks an enthusiastic Account Manager who has a degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Business Sciences, and who can read a financial statement, to assist with the management of our growing portfolio of clients, foster strong relationships and deeply understand their funding needs. Your focus will be on client referrals and funding renewals and whilst it is also analytical, it is a revenue-focused role. You will assist the London-based Account Manager in supporting their clients, who have previously raised money through them. The role focuses on engaging with their clients, understanding their business, and raising them further finance. You’ll need to have an adaptable style to work with a mixture of business types and sizes.

The ideal candidate will have great customer service skills, some experience in or of finance, and top-quality time and project management skills. Whilst this is a portfolio management role, a thirst for ‘doing deals’ and earning commissions is important as well.

You will be assisting a portfolio of clients with their funding requirements, generating referrals and renewal opportunities, building relationships over the phone with management teams at our clients and with our lenders, analysing the financials of our clients and matching them with the appropriate lender, packaging and processing funding applications with our lenders, analysing the client-base using Excel (once trained).

The ideal candidate has a strong academic background (a degree is preferred) and has strong administrative skills and attention to detail. You will need to be happy and comfortable talking to and engaging business people at the Director level.

Must have a Degree, your own car and be able to speak excellent English.
