SUMMARY:
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Junior Mechanical/Chemical Engineer. The successful candidate will assist in designing, optimizing, and implementing water and wastewater treatment processes and systems. The role includes responsibilities in project management, sales, estimation, and follow-up with clients. This is a hybrid position, offering the flexibility to work remotely and on-site in Pretoria and Witbank as needed.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- 0-2 years of experience in water and wastewater treatment process design and engineering.
- Basic technical knowledge and understanding of water treatment processes.
- Proficiency in engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, AQUASIM) is a plus.
- Project management and coordination skills.
- Experience with onsite commissioning, project startup, and remote project management is an advantage.
- Ability to develop and interpret Process & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
- Competence in performing engineering design calculations and verifications.
- Experience with onsite installation, commissioning, and operations.
- Sales and estimation experience, including proposal and tender compilation, client meetings, and project scoping, is an advantage but not required.
