SUMMARY:
Our client, a well-established player in the finance sector based in Gqeberha , is seeking a dynamic Junior Accountant to join their team

POSITION INFO:
Duties:

Assisting with the day-to-day accounting and financial administration of the Company and the Group
Provide accurate, timely, and reliable financial support to the business, under the guidance and supervision of the Financial Director
Must be capable of all start-to-end accounting functions: creditors and debtors, bookkeeping, tax expertise, as well as assistance with the preparation of annual financial statements and audits

Minimum Requirements:

Grade 12 (Matric) qualification
BCom Accounting Qualification advantageous
SAICA/SAIPA Accreditation advantageous
Proficiency in Afrikaans is non-negotiable
At least 2 years’ experience with SARS e-filing and compliance
3 - 5 years’ experience in an similar role – non-negotiable
Trusts, Company Registrations, CIPC knowledge and experience essential
Intricate exposure to Tax in this field
Proficiency in Quickbooks will be advantageous
Must reside in Gqeberha (or surrounds)
