JOB SUMMARY:
I have a great opportunity available in the Insurance industry for an Actuarial Analyst who is looking to jump start their career in the life insurance space.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job & Company Description:
An innovative player in the Insurance industry is looking to provide an opportunity for a young actuarial professional with a genuine eagerness and a general love for executing tasks based on well researched data. In this role you will be involved in the development of actuarial models, actuarial investigations and also analyse and interpret vital organizational data with regards product and pricing in order to gain the advantage over competitors. The ideal candidate must have a real passion for the Insurance industry, have a good understanding of actuarial principles, insurance products and knowledge of Prophet will be given preference.

Education:

BSc Actuarial Degree
Honours Degree will be advantageous
4+ actuarial exams

Job Experience & Skills Required:

1 to 3 years’ experience in life products (preferably in pricing and/or product development)
Prophet model development experience will be highly advantageous
Proficient in SQL, Power BI or Python
Strong academic background
