SUMMARY:
Our luxury lodge group, with headquarters in beautiful Ballito, is looking for a meticulous and enthusiastic Junior Bookkeeper to join our finance team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about hospitality, eager to develop their career in accounting, and ready to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

Assist with daily bookkeeping, data entry, and reconciliations
Process accounts payable and receivable accurately and on time
Prepare and maintain financial records and reports
Support the Finance Manager with month-end close procedures
Manage petty cash and assist with cash flow tracking
Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial statements
Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to resolve queries
Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures

Requirements:

Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
1–2 years’ experience in a bookkeeping or junior accounting role
Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical skills
Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Pastel, Xero, QuickBooks)
Strong organizational and communication skills
Passion for the hospitality industry is a plus
