Are you a driven CA(SA) ready to take the next step in your career within a fast-paced commercial environment? A dynamic and growing business based in Sandton is looking for a high-performing Assistant Finance Manager to join their team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a finance professional coming from a manufacturing or retail background who thrives on adding value, improving processes, and supporting strategic decision-making.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in managing the full finance function
Prepare and review monthly management accounts
Drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
Ensure strong financial controls and compliance with IFRS
Support cash flow management and working capital optimisation
Partner with operations to improve profitability and efficiencies
Assist with audits and statutory requirements
Mentor and support junior finance team members

Requirements:

CA(SA) qualification (essential)
Minimum 2–5 years’ post-articles experience
Experience within manufacturing or retail (non-negotiable)
Strong understanding of costing, stock, and operational finance
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, commercial environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement ability
