SUMMARY:
Our team based in the East Rand is looking for a Junior Process Engineer. This position would require overseas travelling.

Experience:

Graduate with some projects in communication

Qualifications:

Chemical engineering or Metallurgy degree

Travelling requirements:

Periodic travel overseas

Brief description of the role:

To fully understand the working principles of grinding mills and comminution circuits and be able to recommend the correct equipment to fulfil the process requirements of our clients.
Sizing of grinding mills to fulfil customers’ specifications.
Expand knowledge of mining equipment that the company seldom or does not yet supply.
Understand and be able to apply all comminution theory, focusing on Bond’s testing methodology; the different methods of calculating power draw in crushing and grinding equipment; and the population balance model.
Understand how different unit processes within a grinding circuit interact
Work as part of the sales team to assist with securing new orders.
Understand the mechanical components of grinding mills and other equipment and how these machines operate.
