Junior Project Manager- IT Infrastructure - Contract

Our Client a global tech firm is seeking a Junior Project Manager– IT Infrastructure to join their team in Pretoria on a contract basis. They offer stability, growth, exposure, Competitive rates and a great working environment.

The Junior Project Manager will support the IT Infrastructure and Solutions division of our business. The role involves supporting a variety of complex IT infrastructure projects. Planning, design and delivery of new products or services that are necessary to meet customer requirements in line with company strategy. Providing technical expertise to help complete these projects by ensuring that all relevant requirements are met during the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Monitors the deliverables and quality of service levels, and helps to define and maintain Develops and maintains mission-critical information extraction, analysis, and management systems
• To manage and implement, under supervision, continuous improvement projects or components of projects within the controlled constraints of scope, time and cost while ensuring adherence to quality, legal and cost management requirements
• Participates in architecture and software development activities
• Uses open source technologies and tools to accomplish specific use cases encountered within the project
• Uses coding languages or scripting methodologies to solve a problem with a custom workflow
• Collaborates with others on the project to brainstorm about the best way to tackle a complex technological infrastructure, security, or development problem

Qualifications

• A recognized qualification at NQF Level 6 or equivalent qualification in the field of Project Management.
• Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the development and execution of project plans
• Experience with project management software and process improvement techniques are desirable
• Membership in good standing with a professional body in the field of project management (PMP) Project Management Professional
