Our client, a leading player in the logistics and freight forwarding industry, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Key Accounts Manager to join their team near Cape Town International Airport. POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

Manage a portfolio of key clients across all stages of the customer lifecycle.
Build and maintain strong relationships with executive stakeholders.
Track service levels, payment cycles, credit notes, and write-offs.
Drive accuracy in data integrity, estimate submissions, and reporting.
Monitor lost business and red accounts; log call plans via MS Dynamics.
Coordinate rate negotiations, customer training, and client satisfaction surveys.
Ensure compliance with SOPs, safety standards, and internal reporting protocols.
Support tender processes and provide ad hoc reporting to management.
Lead contract negotiations and manage risk across accounts.
Present and implement new services, solutions, and continuous improvement strategies.
Proactively identify growth opportunities within existing accounts.
Maintain up-to-date client documentation and oversee account updates.
Deliver client SLA reporting, performance reviews, and executive business updates.

Minimum Requirements:

Completed BCom in Logistics (Post-graduate qualification advantageous)
8+ years' experience in freight forwarding and logistics
Strong background in customer-facing roles
Proficient in advanced Excel and MS Dynamics
Proven experience working within the freight or logistics industry
