Key Account Manager

SUMMARY:
Are you a dynamic relationship builder with a passion for driving growth? Our Client is seeking an experienced Key Account Manager to manage and grow their Public Sector portfolio in KwaZulu-Natal.

POSITION INFO:
This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional stakeholder management, problem-solving skills, and the ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Achieve sales targets and strategic account objectives within the public sector portfolio
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders
• Identify and generate new business opportunities within assigned accounts
• Represent the full range of products and services to customers
• Lead account planning cycles and ensure customer needs and expectations are met
• Negotiate pricing within set guidelines to maximize profitability
• Conduct monthly and quarterly reviews with clients to analyze performance and identify growth opportunities
• Ensure retention of customers and manage risk exposure
• Prepare accurate reports on pipeline, growth opportunities, and account activity
• Manage proposal presentations and RFP responses.
• Ensure compliance with administrative tasks and SLA agreements

• 5 years of experience in Key Account Management, preferably within the public sector
• Strong ability to manage multiple stakeholders and build strategic relationships
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and deliver on growth and revenue targets
• Solid understanding of account planning and customer profitability
• High level of professionalism and consultative approach
