Plastic Processing Manager

POSITION INFO:

Qualifications:

  • Grade 12 or equivalent
  • Marketing Degree or Diploma

Job Requirements:

  • 5 – 10 years’ experience in the specific discipline in a specialist, supervisor or senior role in a research environment and quality time in a product development, process optimization or similar environment
  • At least 3-5 years’ in the same or similar position
  • Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Experience in a Plastic Processing environment would be advantageous

Your key responsibilities will be:                                                                                                                                                            

  • Ensure that solid customer and supplier relations are built, maintained and managed to ensure timely delivery from suppliers, and customer satisfaction (internal or external)
    • Building solid customer and supplier relationships by managing key accounts, new business development and business growth through the generation of new business
    • Development and maintenance of a market intelligence system
    • Developing operational implementation plans aligned to strategic objectives
    • Involvement in development and innovation of products
    • Analysis if inventory to implement and maintain customer monthly requirements
    • Sales specific support to the division by on time, accurate delivery within budget parameters
    • Business Improvement initiation and implementation of continuous improvement within distribution
    • Effective and efficient information reporting to enable strategic decision-making
