SUMMARY:
A dynamic Key Account Manager / Sales is required for our Client in Midrand to support our Client’s Insurance Partners and their clients (consumers) throughout the claims / sales process from quote to delivery and after sales support (mobile devices insurance).

POSITION INFO:

Key responsibilities & duties

  • Relationship management with our Client’s Insurance Partners to maintain and grow their business with them.
  • Managing the claim quotation function (via Thesl and/or email) within the applicable Service Level Agreements (SLA) which are in place.
  • Suppling their Insurance Partners with updated price lists as and when applicable.
  • Claims Management and Processing.
    • Claims are to be processed within SLA.
    • Ensuring that the claims consultant is kept up to date throughout the claims process.
    • Managing the claim on the Insurers Portal (if applicable).
    • Assisting Finance in managing any claims related issues which may result in the Insurer withholding payment.
  • Consumer Engagement
    • Managing excess payments (if applicable).
    • Assisting with any queries they may have (process and or product related).
      • Maintain a working product knowledge of current and historic (+-2 years old) Cell Phone and Tablets in terms of specifications / functionality.
    • Delivery arrangements.
  • Processing of orders for dispatch.
  • Monitoring delivery.
    • Working with the Client’s preferred Courier Partner to manage any issues with delivery.
    • Ensure that any delays are communicated to the consumer asap in order to manage expectations.
  • Updating internal sales and/or operational documents / reports.
  • Aftersales Service
    • Assisting customers that have received their delivery and have a problem.
    • Requesting customers to complete the Client’s Satisfaction Survey.
  • Achieve or exceed monthly sales targets.
  • Contacting and bringing in new business for the Client with Insurance and/or Broker companies.

 

Qualifications and Education requirements

  • Matric (with strong English).
  • Ability to speak Afrikaans is advantageous.

 

Preferred Skills and Work Experience

  • At least 3 years-experience in a call centre environment.
  • Strong tele-sales skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft office suite (Email, Word, Excel, SharePoint, etc.)
  • Experience with SAP will be beneficial.
  • Excellent telephone etiquette.
  • Excellent time management skills.
