Our client specializing in all modes of transportation and distribution is looking for a Key Accounts Manager.

POSITION INFO:

Our client specializing in all modes of transportation and distribution is looking for a Key Accounts Manager that manages all aspects of existing automotive

clients from an operational and customer relations aspect with the aim on

maintaining and growing the business partnership. Also identifying and

gaining further automotive clients for the company’s client base leading to

additional business and additional partnerships. 

 

Education:
Matric
Logistics/warehouse/business management diploma/degree beneficial

5-10 years of experience in key account management

Knowledge and understanding of the automotive industry

Knowledge of logistics solutions

Have knowledge and understanding of the functioning of operations and systems within the company

Have knowledge and understanding of all relevant Standard Operating Procedures

Have knowledge and understanding of company policies

Knowledge of Health and Safety procedures and policies applicable to own work area


Main Responsibilities:

Maintain good relationship with existing automotive clients through regular

contact and meetings with the clients.

Maintain a good understanding on the client requirements and business

 solutions and service offering in order to maintain customer expected

services as well as identify growth opportunities to provide further and

alternative services to the customer.

Manage expectations and change with the client in a manner that ensures

continuous service provisions with quality outputs, both internal and client

changes.

Managing communications between the client and internal contacts.

Manage client reporting and feedback in an effective and proactive manner.

Present KPI reports frequently and understand the areas for improvement

sufficiently enough to drive improvements thereof.

Management of processing of claims and service-related queries for quick resolution.

Ensure invoicing is processed timeously and correctly whilst managing any

 invoice related queries as required.

Management of customer complaints for feedback and resolution.

Negotiation and management of annual increases.

 

New Business

Gain additional market share within the automotive industry by identifying and gaining new business.

Ensure that market knowledge is up to date in order to identify opportunity and threats for the company’s automotive partnerships.

Manage new business once obtained
