SUMMARY:
A well-known International Company requires the above to manage and oversee all their Key Accounts within the Healthcare Markets driving new products and adding value to their Customers on a national basis.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum requirements for the role:

  • A tertiary qualification in the Scientific Field (ideally a Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent) with previous experience in a Commercial Key Account Management role is essential.
  • Previous sales experience selling Chemical Raw Materials into the Pharmaceutical, Nutraceutical and/or Veterinary or related manufacturing industries is essential.
  • Previous experience selling into the African markets is preferred but not essential.
  • The successful candidate must be an analytical self-starter with excellent communication skills and the ability to compile and present presentations and reports.
  • The successful candidate must be able to work independently.
  • The successful candidate must have a good understanding of distribution models in chemical raw materials.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Developing and maintaining sales to a wide range of Healthcare Accounts within the industry.
  • Managing and overseeing Key Accounts within the Pharmaceutical, Nutraceutical and Veterinary Industries.
  • Developing Key Account plans for designated Key Accounts and liaising with the Sales Team in all territories acting as the prime link for Key Customers.
  • Developing and coordinating regional and global pricing.
  • Negotiating commercial agreements for product sales to achieve budget and sales targets and in line with business, marketing, and pricing policies.
  • Expanding the contact base at senior multi-functional levels.
  • Reporting regularly on business in the designated markets and regions, identifying any threats or opportunities as they arise.
  • Identifying and implementing improvement plans for current and new business.
  • Gathering data on market prices and competitor behaviour and providing feedback to the relevant Sales and Marketing Teams.
  • Managing and overseeing various projects and development work with Customers.
  • Liaising with all necessary role players within the Company to ensure all Customer requirements are fulfilled.
  • Presenting sales forecasts and providing an annual budget for the territory and Key Accounts in the market.
  • Developing strategic customer plans providing Customer product forecasts and technical support with respect to product developments and problem solving.

Salary package, including benefits, is highly negotiable depending on experience gained.
