SUMMARY:
Our client in the Animal Health Industry, has an EE opportunity available for a Key Account Manager in the Johannesburg area.

POSITION INFO:
Education and Experience Requirements:

Grade 12/Matric
Degree/Diploma in BSc Agric
More than 4 years related work experience in sales in the Animal Health Industry (Ruminants and Swines)
Must have a solid understanding of the Animal Health Industry and solid understanding of premix formulation
Computer literate with MS Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint).
Must be in possession of a valid driver’s license
Possess work experience and technical knowledge in sales to producers, consultants and veterinarians

KPAs:

Develop and manage customer strategies to meet business objectives
Assess gaps, competitor activities and opportunities in the market
Assist with product launches of new products and liaise with technical teams of suppliers for correct transfer of knowledge
Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas
Forecast and track key account metrics, e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts
