Key Accounts Manager - Bakery / Food Manufacturing / Hospitality Industry

SUMMARY:
A well-known Food Manufacturing and Distribution Company requires the above to expose existing and new Customers to Company products and grow the market.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements for the role:

• The successful candidate must have a Matric.
• A technical degree or diploma or related qualification in Baking or Confectionary or related is preferred.
• Previous experience having worked in a Sales role within the Food Services industry is essential for this role.
• Previous experience having worked within the general baking or confectionery or related food markets is preferred but not essential.
• The Company will also consider a technical person to be trained up who is keen to move into a sales position for this role.

• Growing sales and market share by increasing sales to existing and new Customers.
• Driving KPIs and meeting sales budgets.
• Ensuring customer service with Key Accounts and maintaining regular calling cycles.
• Identifying opportunities to increase sales and obtaining new Customers.
• Handling Customer queries and complaints professionally and efficiently.
• Assisting in the implementation and sustainability of food safety activities.
• Attending various seminars and exhibitions from time to time when required to do so.
