SUMMARY:
Key Account Manager with Sales_Heavy Commercial Vehicles OEM required for the Gauteng region to sell new vehicles to a National Fleet customer base within the Territory with industry experience and a proven sales track record and Valid Heavy Vehicle licence.

POSITION INFO:

The main responsibility of this role is to sell new Commercial vehicles to a selected National fleet customer base, within the Gauteng Region. This role also has the responsibility to achieve Regional revenue and profit margins exceeding budgets. This is achieved by ascertaining group customer’s needs, replacement cycles and preferences, and building a relationship and business strategy according to this.

 

Minimum requirements

  • Higher education in sales discipline
  • 3-5 years relevant work experience in commercial vehicle sales / fleet would be advantageous
  • A successful commercial vehicle sales track record
  • Effective sales, negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Knowledge of the heavy commercial products and heavy truck and bus industry.
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build and manage key relationships and deliver excellent customer service.
  • Ability to identify opportunities for business development.
  • Ability to take initiative and work under pressure
  • Effective time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • General computer skills
  • Microsoft Excel skills
  • Current heavy vehicle licence
