SUMMARY:
Foster and develop long-term relationships with client base and drive sales. Satisfy customer needs and requests, respond to their queries in a timely manner and aspire to deliver an overall positive customer experience. Achievement of sales targets and customer satisfaction is key to success in this role. Strong focus on acquisitions. Sales and Strategic Communication is essential.

POSITION INFO:

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES ALSO INCLUDE:

  • Ability to acquire new client base
  • Ability to up-sell and cross-sell
  • Strong on focus on acquisitions
  • Responsible for developing relationships with the assigned customer base
  • Maintain and grow existing client base
  • Conduct customer account analysis
  • Maintain, build and service relationships on a regular basis.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree/Diploma in Sales/Marketing - Desirable
  • 4 years’ previous work experience in sales, key account management - Essential
  • Matric / Senior Certificate or equivalent (Minimum) -Essential
  • Proficient in MS Office (All packages) - Essential
  • Clear ITC and No Criminal Record - Essential

 EXPERIENCE

  • A minimum of 5 years in the ICT sector of which 3 years must have been spent in the Telecommunications Industry- Essential
  • 4 years’ previous work experience in sales, key account management, or relevant experience - Essential
  • Successful previous experience as a sales representative consistently meeting or exceeding targets - Essential
  • 1-2 years’ Experience as a Business to Business sales executive/account manager or similar position in the customer service or sales industries - Essential
  • 1-2 years’ Experience as a Business hunter- Must be able to chase on new leads and sales - Essential
  • 1-2 years Telecommunications product and industry knowledge - Essential
  • Proven track record in the form of Commission and/or Awards, Accolades                           

KNOWLEDGE AREAS

  • Strong written and verbal communication - Essential
  • Basic computer skills, and experience with Microsoft Office - Essential
  • Client and Services Knowledge - Essential
  • Strong negotiation skills, with ability follow-through on client contracts - Essential
  • Ability to multitask and manage more than one client account - Essential
