SUMMARY:
The client is looking for a strong specialist to provide specialist advice and support when liaising between stakeholders to elicit, analyse, communicate and validate requirements for changes to knowledge management, policies and information systems.

POSITION INFO:

Job Description

Knowledge management strategy: Assist Knowledge Manager to formulate and execute strategies to foster a culture of information sharing by staff members

Promote knowledge propagation: Facilitate the seamless exchange of information across systems and processes by setting up mechanisms and monitoring the information exchange whenever necessary

Effective knowledge harvesting and usage of collaborative toolsets: Ensure the effective retrieval and usage of knowledge.

Manage and coordinate all day-to-day knowledge management process activities.

Perform the final review of knowledge articles to ensure that the quality standards are respected.

Final publishing of articles to make them visible on the People Portal

Obtain the appropriate subject matter expert (SME) validation when needed.

Identify any new content and/or solutions required to support the end user needs.

Engage with knowledge custodians/SMEs to drive continuous improvement and expansion of the knowledge base.

Create and publish relevant reporting for stakeholders, highlighting successes, top issues and concerns.

Drive continuous improvement via ongoing enhancements and system capabilities.

Qualification requirements

B Degree or equivalent NQF level 6 qualification or higher

Proficient in system information front end development and management and practical experience

Proficient in managing projects and practical experience.

Proficient in MS Office (SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
