Join a dynamic legal team within a leading healthcare organization renowned for its commitment to excellence and collaborative culture. Our client, a prominent entity in the healthcare sector, is seeking a dedicated Legal Advisor specialised in Labour and General Litigation to bolster their legal operations and support strategic decision-making. Duties: Manage and oversee labour, civil, commercial, contractual, and general litigation matters Conduct legal risk assessments and provide recommendations to mitigate legal exposure Liaise with and instruct external attorneys and counsel on litigation matters Attend Labour Court, High Court, and other legal proceedings where required Provide legal guidance on labour relations, collective bargaining, union engagements, and industrial relations matters Ensure compliance with labour legislation, court rules, and procedural requirements Conduct legal research and provide professional legal opinions to management and stakeholders Monitor legislative developments and advise the business on regulatory changes Assist with legal support across the organization and provide written and verbal advice to executives and senior management Prepare litigation reports for management review and governance purposes Requirements: 5 years post admission experience in labour, civil, commercial, and contractual litigation Strong understanding of labour law and industrial relations Excellent legal research and analytical skills Ability to liaise effectively with external legal counsel Proficiency in legal risk assessment and compliance Well-versed in court procedures and legal documentation Excellent communication and advisory skills Nice to Have: Experience in the healthcare industry Familiarity with South African legal frameworks and legislative monitoring Benefits: Competitive salary package Opportunity to work within a leading healthcare organization Collaborative and innovative work environment Professional development opportunities If you are ready to contribute your legal expertise to a forward-thinking healthcare environment, we invite you to apply and join a team committed to making a difference in people's lives.
