SUMMARY:
A leading engineering and defence technology company, specializing in advanced land systems, armored vehicles, and mission-critical mechanical solutions, is seeking a talented Mechanical Design Engineer to join their Land Systems division and contribute to the development of innovative, high-performance ground platforms.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop mechanical systems for land-based platforms (vehicles, weapon mounts, mobility systems, and structural assemblies).
Produce detailed 3D CAD models and manufacturing drawings.
Perform engineering calculations, tolerance analysis, and material selection.
Conduct FEA, structural analysis, and design validation testing.
Support prototype builds, testing, and production handover.
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams (electrical, systems, and manufacturing).
Ensure compliance with military and industry standards.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
3–7 years’ experience in mechanical design (defence or heavy vehicle industry preferred).
Proficiency in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks / CATIA / Inventor or similar).
Experience with structural steel, armor systems, or heavy mechanical assemblies.
Knowledge of GD&T and manufacturing processes (welding, machining, and fabrication).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
