A leading organisation is seeking a Lead Accountant to provide seniorâlevel oversight within the Finance Department. This is a fixedâterm role (maternity cover until 30 June 2027), offering a marketârelated salary with benefits.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements Relevant Accounting\/Finance qualification Professional registration (SAICA, CIMA, ACCA, SAIPA) 5+ years' senior accounting\/finance experience Strong monthâend, reporting, and financial controls background Experience supervising finance team members Advanced MS Excel and ERP system knowledge Key Responsibilities Oversee Accounts Payable, General Ledger, reconciliations, and monthâend processes Manage invoicing, treasury, property, trust, and shareholderârelated accounting Review financial calculations, schedules, and reporting accuracy Provide guidance and accountability to finance team members Support Finance Manager with ad hoc matters Candidate Profile This role suits a technically strong, organised, and detailâoriented professional who thrives on accountability, can manage multiple priorities, and ensures continuity across finance functions.
