SUMMARY:
We’re seeking a Lead Civil Engineer to drive the design and delivery of complex infrastructure and building projects. If you’re passionate about technical excellence, leadership, and making an impact through engineering innovation, this role is for you. This is a 11 month contract role.

POSITION INFO:

Job Description:

Lead and oversee civil design from feasibility to construction
Prepare designs, drawings, and technical documentation
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and local authorities
Manage tender documentation, project budgets, and timelines
Mentor junior engineers and ensure compliance with OH&S and quality standards
Support business development through client engagement and new opportunities

Skills & Experience:

Minimum 10+ years’ experience in civil engineering, with at least 5 years post-registration (PrEng / PrTechEng)
Strong background in earthworks, stormwater, sewer, and bulk services design
Skilled in Autodesk Civil 3D and Vehicle Tracking; MS Project and AutoCAD/Revit advantageous
Proven ability to manage projects, lead teams, and communicate effectively across all levels
Experience across industrial, commercial, or infrastructure projects beneficial
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel

Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (BEng / BSc Eng / BTech Eng).
Registered with ECSA, and ideally with SACPCMP or PMI.

Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered
