SUMMARY:
Signa Opportunity is recruiting unemployed youth for quality workplace experience through the Youth Employment Service (YES) initiative.

About the YES Initiative
The initiative was launched by the President in 2018 and is a partnership with the government and labour department to collectively devise a national plan to build economic pathways for South Africa’s youth by creating workplace opportunities for South African youth over a period of 12 months.

Position: Leadership Development Facilitator

Stipend: R14,660

Location: KZN (Durban)

POSITION INFO:
About the role
Primarily, this position will include coordinating and facilitating our Leadership Development Camps and Training with our partner schools and partner NGOs. It also included building a solid team of 20 part-time facilitators who will work with us for one to 2 years on a part time basis.

Responsibilities

Coordinate camps & onsite trainings.
Create video content to advertise to schools.
Create video content to introduce ourselves and our team.
Establish and maintain an instagram account.
Liaise with schools.
Liaise with Venues for camp bookings.
Develop custom programmes, using our templates, for each group.
Facilitate programmes as head facilitator.
Manage the group of facilitators.
Produce a report for the school after each camp / training.
Update our current content and add in a digital component.
Update our current leadership activities & add new ones.
Create new programmes under our leadership development offerings.

Minimum Requirements

South African Unemployed youth between the ages of 18 and 34.
Must not have participated on the YES programme before.
Matric.
Background in Psychology or Development Studies will be a plus.
