JOB SUMMARY:
A successful property management company based in the northern suburbs, is seeking to employ an experienced and hands-on Leasing Administrator to join their team. We are looking for someone that takes pride in their appearance, be approachable and friendly as you will be dealing with tenants, brokers, and external parties. This is a multi—faceted position for someone who is detail orientated, organized and efficient.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsibilities:

Interpretation and data entry of new leases on MDA.
Accuracy of data entry on MDA.
Drafting of lease agreements.
Amendments of leases.
Regularly communicate and follow up with tenants with regards to outstanding documentation.
Perform lease audits to ensure lease documents are signed correctly and legally enforceable.
Commission calculation to be verified.
Credit checks and reviewing of tenants.
Management of new leases and lease renewals.
Property Portfolio Admin.
Customer Liaison.
Maintenance administration.
Advertising of properties.
Client /Tenant enquiries.
Property inspections.
Update and loading of vacancy schedule.
Office administration.
Manage all subcontractors, contractor administration.
Scheduling of contractors.
Management of job card procedure.
Liaising with suppliers.
Dealing with Building insurance.
Liaising with brokers and attorneys.

Requirements:

Excellent telephone etiquette.
Capacity to write, interpret, and assess lease agreements.
3 years working experience in a similar role.
Fully bilingual in English and Afrikaans.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Punctual, good time keeping.
Must be a team player.
Own reliable transport.
Must reside in the Northern Suburbs.
Non-smoker.
