SUMMARY:
A dynamic law firm is looking for a Legal Accounts Administrator/Bookkeeper with proven legal accounting experience and a solid understanding of financial processes.

The successful candidate will come from a legal or professional services environment and be experienced in managing trust and business accounts in compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

Opening and closing of investment accounts
Issuing of guarantees
Reconciliation of property final accounts
Setting up and processing daily EFT payments
Daily and monthly bank reconciliations
Debtors and creditors reconciliation
Receipting daily deposits from bank statements
Preparation of month-end management accounts

Requirements and Skills:

Legal accounting knowledge is compulsory
Prior experience in a law firm or legal environment is highly advantageous
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines
Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
