Non- negotiable qualifications and experience required:

• Degree in Law (LLB) or Corporate Governance qualification.
• 5+ years of experience as a Company Secretary in a legal or corporate environment.

• CIS (Chartered Secretary) certification or equivalent is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of company law, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work with confidential information and high-level stakeholders.
• Own vehicle and Drivers license.

• Ensure compliance with corporate governance regulations, the Companies Act, and other relevant legislation.
• Maintain and update statutory records, registers, and filings with regulatory bodies.
• Prepare and distribute board and committee agendas, minutes, and resolutions.
• Advise the board and management on legal and regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with external stakeholders, including auditors, legal advisors, and regulatory authorities.
• Assist with contract review, legal documentation, and risk management.
• Ensure adherence to corporate policies, ethics, and best practices.
