Position: Legal Compliance Advisor
Location: Bloemfontein
Salary: Market Related + Benefits (Pension Fund & Medical Aid)

Minimum Requirements

Admitted Attorney
Minimum 2 years’ post-admission experience
Previous experience in Compliance is essential
Strong understanding of regulatory and legal compliance frameworks
Excellent communication and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple matters
Candidate must reside in the Bloemfontein area or be willing to relocate

Duties and Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with applicable legislation, regulations, and internal policies
Monitor and assess compliance risks within the business
Draft, review, and update compliance policies and procedures
Provide legal and compliance advice to management and internal stakeholders
Conduct compliance audits and risk assessments
Assist with regulatory reporting and submissions
Keep up to date with legislative and regulatory developments
Provide compliance training and guidance to staff where required
