SUMMARY:
Our client a well established Law Firm, is seeking to employ a Legal Secretary with at least 5 years to join their Litigation Department. The successful candidate will provide professional secretarial and administrative support to Attorneys while ensuring the efficient management of litigation matters.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements: Matric Tertiary qualification N4 - N6 or National Diploma in Legal Secretarial will be advantageous Minimum 5 years' experience as a Litigation Legal Secretary Sound knowledge of litigation procedures and legal administration. Experience with online legal systems CaseLines, Court Online, SearchWorks, CIPC , and FICA requirements. Experience with Ghost Practice will be advantageous. Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Excellent typing, organisational, and communication skills. Duties will include, but not limited to: Provide secretarial and administrative support to Attorneys in litigation department Preparation, formatting and compilation of pleadings, affidavits, memoranda, correspondences and bills of costs Proofread legal documents and pleadings Opening of files and debiting of fees on Ghost Practice Type letters, affidavits, pleadings, fees, legal opinions and documents Schedule and set up all necessary appointments, client meetings, virtual meetings, court hearings or appearances Debit fees and disbursements, generate or process invoices In return a competitive salary is on offer
