SUMMARY:
Our client is looking for a Senior Conveyancing Secretary to join their team in Durbanville.

POSITION INFO:
Roles and Responsibilities Key Responsibilities Manage transfer matters from instruction through to registration. Prepare and process all transfer documentation. Liaise with clients, estate agents, banks, attorneys and other relevant parties. Attend to Deeds Office requirements, queries and follow-ups. Prepare files for lodgement and ensure matters progress efficiently. Obtain and follow up on outstanding documentation. Monitor and manage deadlines throughout the transfer process. Attend to FICA, compliance and related administrative requirements. Provide clients with regular updates regarding the progress of their matters. Resolve queries and ensure excellent client service. Assist the Conveyancer with the day-to-day management of transfer matters. Requirements 5+ years' experience as a Conveyancing Secretary, specifically within Transfers. Strong knowledge of the full transfer process. Proven experience managing a high-volume transfer portfolio. Excellent knowledge of Deeds Office procedures. Experience with conveyancing software such as GhostConvey, Lexis Convey or similar. Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills. Ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively. Excellent communication and client service skills. Previous experience working within an established law firm is advantageous. You should be able to hit the ground running and add value to an established conveyancing team.
