JOB SUMMARY:
: To sell life science and diagnostic products to industries (pathology, tertiary institutes, food & beverage industries and all life science organizations) in the Gauteng and bordering provinces

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties:

Execute an own quota of Life Science order bookings for South Africa by:
- Finding new customers in clinical and industrial settings.
- Contributing to marketing activities such as advertisements and mailings.
- Qualifying potential sales.
- Arranging and hosting customer demonstrations.
- Generate quotations
- Handle relevant SA tendering processes.
- Manage public and private tender submissions.
- Negotiate pricing in collaboration with the parent factory and management and close deals with customers.
Manage the Life Science sales in South Africa as a sales representative:
- Ensure constant growth
- Responsible for managing and driving the annual business plan
Arrange Exhibitions and Seminars at conferences in the territory.
Maintain a relationship with existing customers.
Market analysis.

Requirements:

BSc or equivalent in Microbiology, Life or Analytical Science with some postgraduate experience, either in diagnostics or industry.
Current valid driving license.
Valid passport.
Competencies in Analytical technologies and Sales is required
An understanding of microbiology and diagnostics.
Must be fluent in English
