Logistics Analyst - Customer Services

SUMMARY:

The main purpose of this position:

To analyse product delivery and the supply chain processes to identify or recommend improvements that will reduce cost and improve customer service

To assist in the management and control of the Distribution department with the focus on increasing productivity and service levels and the reduction in total operating costs

POSITION INFO:

Duties & Responsibilities include:

(But are not limited to)

• Reporting to the Distribution Manager, the successful applicant will be responsible for the following (amongst other duties):
• Assisting in the management of the Distribution budget
• Ensuring quality and accuracy of the delivered product
• Ensuring effective fleet management
• Monitoring of Fleet movements via the tracking software
• Managing external transport cost control and allocation
• Managing ensured safe working environment
• Reporting injuries on duty
• Ensuring process improvements
• Generating and evaluating of reports

Requirements:

In order to be considered for this position, applicants must comply with the following:

• Supply Chain or Logistics Degree
• Knowledge of Supply Chain and Logistic systems
• Strong financial acumen
• Excellent analytical skills
• Computer Literacy in Microsoft Office and SAP (advantageous)
• Good planning and organising skills
• Strong leadership
• Good communication skills
• Integrity
