Logistics Manager

An established business within the granite and natural stone industry is looking for a hands-on Logistics Manager to take ownership of its freight and logistics coordination. This is an opportunity for someone who understands the complexities of cross-border logistics, Sea Freight, Road Freight and international shipping documentation and can confidently manage multiple moving parts under pressure.

POSITION INFO:
What you'll be responsible for Managing and coordinating approximately 140-160 containers per month Coordinating with freight forwarders regarding shipment requirements, specifications and packing lists Managing and verifying critical international shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading, Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Certificates of Origin and ISPM 15 Fumigation Certificates Applying strong working knowledge of INCOTERMS across international shipments Coordinating Sea Freight and Road Freight movements across borders Liaising closely with packing teams, freight forwarders and company directors regarding shipment progress, delays and operational changes Proactively identifying potential logistics disruptions and implementing solutions to maintain shipment flow Maintaining accurate shipment records, documentation and logistics reporting Managing multiple shipments simultaneously while ensuring documentation, deadlines and stakeholder requirements remain aligned What we're looking for You will ideally bring: A relevant Degree or Diploma 4-5 years' experience within Freight Forwarding Strong practical knowledge of international and cross-border logistics Extensive exposure to Sea and Road Freight Strong knowledge of INCOTERMS and international shipping documentation Advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office capabilities Experience working within a high-volume shipment environment You'll need to be solutions-driven, confident and resilient , with excellent people skills and the ability to remain composed in a high-pressure logistics environment.
