SUMMARY:
A mining company is looking for a Logistics Manager to join their team. The position is based in Brits. The successful candidate has to come with extensive transportation industry experience.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum Requirements:

Matric.
Essential: BCom Degree in Logistics.
5+ years’ experience as a Logistics Manager.
Strong MS Office experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Receive Sales Budget.
Develop Export Forwarders logistics budget to facilitate targets established.
Prepare yearly budget and conduct regular reforecasting to control expenditure.
Produce relevant budget input.
Ensure business plans are applied to budget process.
Negotiate prices for Sea freight, Rail, Road transportation with service providers.
Establish contacts, relationships, and networks with relevant service providers.
Manage performance against sales target budget.
Provide transport reports.
