Logistics Manager

SUMMARY:
A mining company is looking for a Logistics Manager to join their team. The position is based in Brits. The successful candidate has to come with extensive transportation industry experience.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum Requirements:

• Matric.
• Essential: BCom Degree in Logistics.
• 5+ years’ experience as a Logistics Manager.
• Strong MS Office experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Receive Sales Budget.
• Develop Export Forwarders logistics budget to facilitate targets established.
• Prepare yearly budget and conduct regular reforecasting to control expenditure.
• Produce relevant budget input.
• Ensure business plans are applied to budget process.
• Negotiate prices for Sea freight, Rail, Road transportation with service providers.
• Establish contacts, relationships, and networks with relevant service providers.
• Manage performance against sales target budget.
• Provide transport reports.
