SUMMARY:
A leading organisation is seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to oversee warehouse, distribution, transport and inventory operations. The successful candidate will drive operational efficiency, service delivery, cost control and continuous improvement within a fast-paced environment.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities Manage overall warehouse, distribution and transport operations. Oversee receiving, storage, picking, replenishment and dispatch. Ensure accurate and efficient order fulfilment and on-time deliveries. Manage inventory accuracy, stock control, cycle counts and reconciliations. Oversee fleet management, route planning and transport efficiency. Manage and optimise Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). Monitor logistics costs, budgets, labour productivity and operational performance. Drive continuous improvement and identify cost-saving opportunities. Ensure compliance with health, safety, food safety and quality standards. Lead, coach and develop the logistics team. Work closely with internal stakeholders to maintain high customer service levels. Drive operational change, process improvements and system implementation. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field. 10-12 years' experience in logistics, warehouse or distribution management. Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior logistics\/warehouse leadership role. FMCG, retail or temperature-controlled distribution experience advantageous. Strong experience with WMS, inventory management, fleet management and route optimisation. Knowledge of industrial relations and disciplinary processes. Strong MS Office skills, particularly Excel. Excellent leadership, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Legal Liability certification advantageous.
