POSITION INFO:
MARKETING MANAGER/EAST LONDON - The focus of the role is to oversee, improve and drive performance, brand and strategic marketing functions and processes across the business.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or communications-related field preferred.
- 3 – 5 years management experience within the marketing function.
- Proficiency in sales, data analytics and reporting software e.g. Looker Studio or Power BI & CRM technologies, and advanced understanding of digital marketing platforms and tools.
- Proven experience in digital and performance marketing (SEO, paid, organic etc).
- Experience with CRM and marketing automation, analytics platforms, and tag managers.
- Experience in B2C marketing (B2B being advantageous).
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage agencies and manage senior stakeholder relationships.
- Strong data analytics and reporting skills; Self-driven and performance focused.
- Strong leadership competencies, with a team-centred approach.
- Strategic perspective to development, planning, and execution.
- Critical thinker and problem solver.
- Strong project management skills
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performance Marketing and Strategy
- In collaboration with paid media agencies, and SEO initiatives/strategies to drive acquisition,; Regularly monitor performance of digital campaigns; Oversee/assist with, and sign off all creative and copy content; Plan, coordinate and monitor paid media campaigns; Strategize methods to optimise digital paid campaigns;
- Brand and Content Marketing
- Facilitate and drive production of high-quality content for organic social media campaigns; Manage PR, influencer and external communications; Maintain and monitor the Institutional website, writing copy and publishing blogs and testimonial assets; Facilitate communications between the organisation and students; Facilitate the annual Institutional graduation ceremonies; Facilitate brand marketing initiatives on traditional marketing channels such as radio, tv and newspaper.
Reporting and Analytics
- Ensure technical setup and tracking of conversion data, including pixel installation, Google Tag Manager, UTM structures etc.
- Maintain and improve dashboards and other performance reports
- Report to Exco on performance of the marketing function across the business
Salary – Negotiable depending on experience
