JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsibilities:

  1. Processing to trial balance on MDA.
  2. Processing to trial balance on Pastel.
  3. Administrative sheets and accounting tasks.
  4. Preparation of audit files and supporting documentation.
  5. Submission of VAT201, EMP201, EMP501, ITR14, ITR14T.
  6. Requesting tax clearances, statement of accounts and other efiling tasks.
  7. Debtors collections, evictions procedures, etc.
  8. Willing to travel to Springs once or twice a week, depending on the capability to solve problems electronically.
  9. Tenant training (this will be discussed in the interview and explained thoroughly).
  10. Good understanding of accounting and taxation.

 

Qualifications:

  1. A Diploma (NQF lvl 6) or degree (NQF lvl 7) in accounting will be advantageous, but will consider candidates with experience.
  2. Have at least 4 years of experience in accounting.

 

Personality:

  1. Hard working.
  2. Willing to follow leadership.
  3. Willing to adapt to the company’s method of processing.
  4. Good communication skills with clients.
  5. Ability to not get attached to clients.
  6. Always act on a professional bases.
  7. Good problem detection and solving skills.
  8. Good financial information reporting skills.

 

Software experience:

  1. MDA (full function) – extensive experience as no training can be given.
  2. Pastel Partner / Express (full function) – extensive experience
  3. Easyfile experience.
  4. Efiling experience.
  5. Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, etc experience
