MF Operations Manager

POSITION INFO:
We are looking for an experienced and results-driven MF Operations Manager to oversee the overall performance and wellbeing of the business unit, staff and customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate inventory management, operational efficiency, customer service excellence and sustainable managed freight operations. Key Responsibilities Manage daily inventory processes and ensure stock accuracy and traceability. Investigate and resolve stock variances and manage product shelf-life requirements. Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure agreed service levels are achieved. Resolve customer complaints and implement corrective operational actions. Manage operational costs in line with approved budgets and investigate variances. Ensure compliance with company procedures, DQSP guidelines and regulatory requirements. Drive continuous improvement, cost efficiencies and service-level enhancements. Monitor operational KPIs and optimize resource utilization. Manage fleet, vehicles and operational assets, including preventative maintenance. Lead, develop and train employees while monitoring performance. Ensure a safe, healthy and food-safe operating environment. Participate in food safety initiatives and manage internal and external audit requirements. Minimum Requirements Grade 12 is compulsory. Relevant tertiary qualification in Supply Chain Management or a similar field. Minimum 5 years' experience in Warehousing & Distribution, Transport, FMCG or related operations. Intermediate to advanced computer literacy, including MS Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. Advanced WMS and GP systems knowledge. Strong inventory management and stock control knowledge.
