JOB DESCRIPTION:

The MIS Specialist works within the Payments Strategy and Maintenance team, which is a rapid-change environment.

A leading South African bank that sets itself apart through excellent client service, digital advancement and lived internal values is seeking to appoint a MIS Specialist to assist in the development of analytics and reporting for payments strategy division.

Job Responsibilities

Work with stakeholder to define BI and reporting requirements.
Gather and or clarify data and reporting requirements from stakeholders.

Explore existing data repositories to understand what data are where so you can leverage those data using BI tools to create reports, dashboards and other analyses.

Qualifications, Experience and Competences:

Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate
Advanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees (Economics, Stats, IS, Maths etc)
Advanced SQL, Data analysis, Information Management
Able to learn quickly, in a rapid-change environment
Manage high volume and time sensitive tasks
Knowledge of payments industry and payments strategy

This role is a hybrid work style, with the majority of the work performed remotely. Constant innovations in payments requires a MIS Specialist who enjoys the pace and exposure the payments industry can provide.
