POSITION INFO:

Magento 2 tech Lead

1. Key Responsibilities

The Tech Lead is both the technical coordinator of the team and the delivering referent of the team. This role will mainly be in the management of the M2 platform and its integrations:

Designing overall integration / technical solution architecture
Participating in the definition of the Product enhancement strategy with the client / Functional team
Designing and Reviewing Solution or technical designs
Verifying compatibility of new solutions with existing ones
Researching and solving complex technical problems involving multiple systems or integrations
Coaching and supporting the squad on a day-to-day basis according to the defined delivery plan
Break down the solution into manageable task for the analysts, developers and configurators
Support the Scrum master on a daily basis with the product Backlog prioritization
Promote and deploy Agile rituals within the squad

1. Skills

You will coordinate the various technical aspects of the system, and ensure that they interact smoothly and correctly:

Work with the Business Analyst to evaluate the technical options and decide the best way to turn the high-level Business requirements into a technical solution
Agrees the technical architecture and ensure the architectural integrity is maintained
Ensure adherence to standards of best practice (e.g. source code control etc.)
Mentor the other technical staff
You will focus team to deliver on time, encourages full team participation, manages detailed time box activities and day-to-day activities, ensures testing and review activities are scheduled and completed.
Monitor the team velocity and setup the needed improvement actions
Monitor the team delivery quality and rework to keep the committed velocity
Approving the solution as technically fit for purpose prior to deployment
The Technical lead will be the code Custodian for the M2 Application, ensuring code is deployed against the client’s agreed standards.
